Yesterday was our last full day in the US (but only just barely -- our plane doesn't leave until 11:45pm tonight).
We spent it scouring the house for odds and ends, pacing around the living room, and staring at the same four not-fully-packed bags. By early evening we were both feeling pretty frayed around the edges and needed to get out of the house. Katrina went to shop for some last-minute necessities and I took the new camera and biked up the hill to
Larz Anderson Park.
It was nice to only think of trees and sunlight and fitting them into frame for an hour. Scroll through these and think of us scrambling to get everything ready before tonight!

First, (obviously) I love your blog. Secondly, the day before I did Bike and Build, your mom and I walked around Larz Anderson Park together, an afternoon we shared that I've never forgotten. I'm so glad you found such calm and beauty in the final hours before your big adventure. Really a terrific spot.
ReplyDeleteKeep the writing and photos coming. Everything I've read and seen so far has been just lovely. Thanks.
